British Fashion Awards: 2009

The British Fashion Council and INCA Productions commissioned Silent to design and art direct holographic projection content for the British Fashion Awards, held at Royal Courts of Justice, London. Silent collaborated with friends, Manvsmachine, to create titles to introduce each award: roses which animated from bud to full bloom. Silent created the sound design – a mix of warm, organic, analogue sounds.

25 Dresses Film

Film director, Mark Jenkinson was commissioned to shoot a film celebrating the British Fashion Council’s 25th Anniversary. The holographic film of models wearing groundbreaking pieces from the last 25 years blurred the real with the hyper-real. Filmed on high speed cameras, the 3D effect provided a dreamlike accompaniment to dinner in the Great Hall.
